Registration runs June 1st - August 10.

Important: After August 10th, registration will only be opened to fill empty roster space on individual teams. Once all rosters are full, there will absolutely be no further registration available.

When does the season begin and end?

Teams with coaches may begin practicing as soon as:

  • All roster players have paid
  • Teams U10 and up have a volunteer referee for the season

Games begin September 6th and run through October 25th.

What are other important dates this season?

  • Practices begin: August 11

Very Young Teams 30-45 mins before games No separate practices

Who sets the game schedule?

The Inter-Regional (IR) game schedule is created by Erica Ammons, RC for AYSO Region 325.

Age divisions with enough teams may be kept "in house" meaning they won't have to travel to other regions to play.

Location: Playground, Schoolyard, U6 and U8 teams play all games at the Regional Park fields.

Where and when will my child play?

U6 & U8 Saturdays Regional Park fields only

Who will coach my child?

Hopefully YOU! All AYSO coaches are volunteers - we cannot run this program without you!

Important: Practices cannot begin until your child's team has a registered coach!

When will I be notified about my child's team/coach/practice schedule?

You will receive an email once:

  • Your player's roster has been filled
  • A parent has volunteered and registered to coach

Important: If you haven't heard from a coach, it's likely because no one has volunteered for the team!

Who will ref my child's games?

All AYSO referees are registered volunteers - we need parents to fill these roles!

Multiple referee training opportunities will be provided at the fields.

Important: Teams may not begin practicing until they have a registered referee!

How do I order my player's jersey?

Once a parent has volunteered as coach for your child's team, you will receive an email with a link to order. Jerseys will be mailed directly to you.

What does my player need by first practice?

  • Soccer cleats (not baseball or football cleats)
  • Shin guards
  • Soccer socks
  • Size-appropriate ball:
    • Playground through U8: Size 3
    • U10/U12: Size 4
    • U14+: Size 5

Will my player get a trophy at the end of the season?

AYSO does not provide team trophies or medals. However, parents are welcome to collect money, order awards, and plan a ceremony.

What if my child decides they do not want to play?

Teams must be submitted to the Area Director by August 15.

Refunds will be prorated only if your player becomes injured during practice or in a game.

Can my child play with an arm cast?

Absolutely not - no matter how much bubble wrap you put on it!

Are there specific items not allowed to be worn by players?

Absolutely no jewelry is allowed during games:

  • No bracelets, necklaces, or earrings
  • No "forever" bracelets
  • The only exception is a medical ID bracelet, which must be covered with something soft

Note: Players will be asked to remove newly pierced earrings during games.

May I smoke or drink alcohol if I walk away from the fields or to my car?

Prohibited: No alcoholic beverages, smoking or vaping are permitted ANYWHERE within the fields.

If you smoke in your car near the fields where children may get secondhand smoke, you will be asked to leave.
